Scott Morrison (Scott John Morrison) or ScoMo as he is better known, was born on 13 May 1968. During his more than ten years in the parliament, ScoMo has established a reputation as a passionate advocate for his local community as well as a proven fixer for difficult policy problems in three senior Cabinet portfolios.

Scott Morrison was sworn in as Prime Minister of Australia on 24 August 2018 after being elected leader of the Liberal Party. He was first elected as the Federal Member for Cook in 2007.

His father was a policeman and his mother worked in administrative positions. They ran youth programs for the local church. His father also worked as a local-government councillor for 16 years.Continue reading
