NORTH KOREAN STATE media on Wednesday attacked 2020 presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden, calling him “a fool of low IQ.”
KCNA published the scathing comments, saying Biden is “reckless and senseless” and that he has “reeled off rhetoric slandering the supreme leadership” of North Korea.
The criticism came after Biden referred to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as a dictator and tyrant during a campaign rally in Philadelphia over the weekend.
“What he uttered is just sophism of an imbecile bereft of elementary quality as a human being, let alone a politician,” KCNA stated. “Such a guy had the temerity to insult the supreme leadership of the DPRK, an intolerable and serious politically-motivated provocation against the DPRK.”
KCNA said Biden has been accused of “vulgar acts and words about women and his thoughtless remarks,” likely referring to recent allegations that the 2020 candidate engaged in inappropriate contact with women.
The state media delved into the former vice president’s past, claiming that “it is well known to the world” that Biden received a failing grade in college because he plagiarized a paper. The media also brought up Biden’s previous failed bids for the White House.
“It is by no means accidental that there is nonstop comment over his bid for candidacy that he is not worth pinning hope on, backed by the jeer that he is a fool of low IQ,” KCNA said.
According to the outlet, the American media has accused Biden of “manic-obsessive running of the mouth.” The claim that Biden praises himself as “being the most popular presidential candidate … is enough to make a cat laugh.”
“Explicitly speaking,” KCNA said, “we will never pardon anyone who dare provoke the supreme leadership of the DPRK but will certainly make them pay for it.”
